How do you keep going after 17 rejections? - what worked for you?

After a layoff as a forklift operator I am finding mornings difficult. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
