How do you keep going after 17 rejections? - any advice?

After a layoff as a store manager I am finding mornings difficult. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.
