How do you keep going after 17 rejections? after 17 years as a medical assistant

I sent 17 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I do not want to burden my family. What helps you on bad days?

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.
