How do you keep going after 16 rejections? after 16 years as a machine operator

I sent 16 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want to burden my family. Is it worth talking to someone?

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.
