How do you keep going after 16 rejections? after 16 years as a forklift operator

I sent 16 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I worked as a forklift operator before this. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
