How do you keep going after 13 rejections? after 13 years as a mechanic

I sent 13 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I am in Sacramento, in case local advice matters. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working.

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
