How do I tell my family about the layoff?, sales associate here

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a sales associate. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I feel ashamed even though the company cut a whole team. What did you say?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
