How do I tell my family about the layoff?, retail manager here

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a retail manager. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I feel ashamed even though the company cut a whole team. How did you handle it?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
