How do I tell my family about the layoff?, logistics coordinator here

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a logistics coordinator. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I want a plan before I speak. How did you handle it?

Shame is common after a layoff even when it is not your fault. Saying it out loud to one person first helped me.
