How do I tell my family about the layoff? - first time posting

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a home health aide. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I want a plan before I speak. Did it get easier afterwards?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Do not wait until a bill surprises them. The longer it goes, the harder it gets.
