How do I tell my family about the layoff?, call-centre agent here

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a call-centre agent. It has been a long 13 weeks. I feel ashamed even though the company cut a whole team. How did you handle it?

Do not wait until a bill surprises them. The longer it goes, the harder it gets.
