How do I tell my family about the layoff? - any advice?

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as an office manager. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I feel ashamed even though the company cut a whole team. What did you say?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
