How do I tell my family about the layoff? - 5 months and counting

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a school bus driver. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I want a plan before I speak. What did you say?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
