How do I tell my family about the layoff? - 26 weeks in

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a customer-service rep. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I feel ashamed even though the company cut a whole team. How did you handle it?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
