How do I explain a layoff in interviews? - what worked for you?

My whole team was cut and I want to say it calmly. Any experience at all would help. I do not want to blame the company.

Practise it out loud with a friend. Mine felt natural after the third try.

I keep it to two sentences: the company cut my team, and here is what I am proud of and what I am looking for next.
