How do I explain a layoff in interviews?, medical assistant here

My whole team was cut and I want to say it calmly. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I also do not want to seem like a risk. Do they ask follow-ups?

Practise it out loud with a friend. Mine felt natural after the third try.
