How do I explain a layoff in interviews? (Jacksonville)

My whole team was cut and I want to say it calmly. I also do not want to seem like a risk. Do they ask follow-ups?

I keep it to two sentences: the company cut my team, and here is what I am proud of and what I am looking for next.

Say it plainly and move on to what you can do. Interviewers usually move on if you do.
