How do I explain a layoff in interviews? after 4 years as a nurse's aide

My whole team was cut and I want to say it calmly. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have been practising in the mirror. What do you say?

If a company has been in the news for layoffs, you can mention that. Often the interviewer already knows.
