How do I explain a layoff in interviews? after 10 years as a forklift operator

I have an interview next week and I am unsure how to explain why I left my last job as a forklift operator. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I also do not want to seem like a risk.

If a company has been in the news for layoffs, you can mention that. Often the interviewer already knows.
