How do I explain a layoff in interviews? - 23 weeks in

My whole team was cut and I want to say it calmly. I worked as a recruiter before this. I do not want to blame the company. Do they ask follow-ups?

I keep it to two sentences: the company cut my team, and here is what I am proud of and what I am looking for next.
