Hiding a layoff from the family, bad idea? (Tulsa)

My spouse does not know yet that I was let go as a forklift operator. It has been a long 23 weeks. I feel ashamed even though the company cut a whole team.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
