I have been leaving the house at the same time each day so my kids do not notice. I worked as an accounts payable clerk before this. I feel ashamed even though the company cut a whole team. What did you say?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Shame is common after a layoff even when it is not your fault. Saying it out loud to one person first helped me.
