Explaining a layoff without sounding bitter - 14 months and counting

I have an interview next week and I am unsure how to explain why I left my last job as a janitorial supervisor. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I do not want to blame the company.

Practise it out loud with a friend. Mine felt natural after the third try.

I keep it to two sentences: the company cut my team, and here is what I am proud of and what I am looking for next.
