Checking my last day of health coverage - what worked for you?

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. Any experience at all would help. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. Did coverage match what HR said?

Keep a copy of any coverage confirmation in case of later disputes.

Dental and vision sometimes end on a different date from medical. Mine did.
