Checking my last day of health coverage (update)

I am not sure what date my benefits stop after being let go as a forklift operator. It has been a long 17 weeks. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. How did you confirm your end date?

Ask HR to confirm the exact date in writing. I also called the insurance company to double-check.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
