Checking my last day of health coverage, school bus driver here

I am not sure what date my benefits stop after being let go as a school bus driver. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have an appointment next week. How did you confirm your end date?

Ask HR to confirm the exact date in writing. I also called the insurance company to double-check.
