Checking my last day of health coverage - any advice?

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. It has been weighing on me all week. I do not want to be surprised by a bill.

Dental and vision sometimes end on a different date from medical. Mine did.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
