Checking my last day of health coverage after 11 years as a line cook

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. It has been a long 24 weeks. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. How did you confirm your end date?

Ask HR to confirm the exact date in writing. I also called the insurance company to double-check.
