Checking my last day of health coverage - 2 months and counting

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. I worked as a web developer before this. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. How did you confirm your end date?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
