Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - what worked for you?

My income dropped to unemployment benefits and my bills have not changed. Any experience at all would help. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What did you cut first?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
