Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - what worked for you?

I have 9 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a payroll clerk. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
