Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? (update)

I have 12 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a retail manager. Any experience at all would help. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What did you cut first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $750 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
