Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?, medical assistant here

I have 8 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a medical assistant. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. Did any lender work with you?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $450 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
