Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?, IT help-desk technician here

I have 12 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an IT help-desk technician. Any experience at all would help. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What did you cut first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
