Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? (Hartford)

I have 14 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a copywriter. Any experience at all would help. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
