Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - first time posting

My income dropped to unemployment benefits and my bills have not changed. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $900 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
