Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?

My income dropped to unemployment benefits and my bills have not changed. It has been weighing on me all week. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
