Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? (Chicago)

I have 7 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an electrician's helper. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What helped the most?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $1000 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
