Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?

I have 5 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a web developer. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $600 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
