Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?, barista here

I have 8 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a barista. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
