Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - any advice?

I have 7 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a teaching assistant. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $650 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
