Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - any advice?

I have 8 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a payroll clerk. Any experience at all would help. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $850 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
