Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - any advice?

I have 13 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a security officer. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $350 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
