Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - any advice?

I have 6 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an electrician's helper. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. Did any lender work with you?

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
