Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? after 7 years as a retail manager

I have 7 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a retail manager. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $650 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
