Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? after 4 years as a bookkeeper

We are a household of 4 and need to cut costs quickly. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $700 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
