Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? after 3 years as a welding apprentice

I have 6 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a welding apprentice. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $300 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
