Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? after 18 years as a store manager

I have 4 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a store manager. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $700 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
