Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? after 15 years as a production planner

My income dropped to unemployment benefits and my bills have not changed. I worked as a production planner before this. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $650 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
