Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? after 14 years as a sales associate

I have 12 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a sales associate. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $600 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
